This is the pickup that was designed for and fitted to the American Vintage '62 Tele Custom that was sadly discontinued in 2012. However, unbeknownst to many, Fender still carried on manufacturing the pickups although they are not currently fitted to any of their production guitars! Featuring a low wind and Alnico II magnets and '60s style pole pieces with staggered magnets raised on the 'D' and 'G' strings. There is wax coated white string wrap around the coil, a traditional copper clad steel bottom plate and vintage style cloth insulated output leads.Â
